Camping trip

A few weeks ago I went on a camping trip with a few of my friends. Unfortunately the weather was awful, so the field we were camping on became more like a bog, covering everything we owned in mud. To say the car was dirty would be a complete understatement! It was covered in so much mud and dirt that you weren’t even able to tell the colour of it. After attempting to clean it with soap and water, I decided I needed the extra help of a special car cleaning product. I decided to try Body Shield Pro, as I’d read a lot of good things about it online.

Body Shield Pro is a waterless cleaning product that removes dirt from your car, leaving it clean and shiny, whilst also adding a weatherproof layer of protection, to ensure it stays cleaner for longer. I simply had to spray the solution onto the car and wait for a couple of minutes while the silicones in the product worked to lift the dirt, making it easier to wipe away. I then took a micro fibre cloth and used it to wipe away all of the dirt. I could finally see the lovely red paintwork again! Once the car was clean, I then took a separate micro fibre cloth and used it to buff the car panels, enhancing their lovely metallic shine. I really like the fact that Body Shield Pro can be used on all areas of the car, as I sometimes find it confusing when products can only be used on certain areas. It is also far less messy using Body Shield Pro, than soap and water – normally I’m drenched from head to toe by the time I’ve cleaned my car!

After thinking that I was never going to get my car clean, let alone so quickly, Body Shield Pro really proved to be a top cleaning product. It has definitely replaced my usual car cleaning formula of soap and water, and I have been recommending it to all of my friends.

Get Well Soon

Last week I bought a Huggle Buddy for my friend’s daughter, Lexie, who hadn’t been very well. She had been feeling poorly for a while and had to stay in hospital for a few days, until they could determine what was wrong with her. I knew that she had been after a Huggle Buddy for a while and thought it would keep her entertained at the hospital, if she felt bored. Lexie is really into princesses and castles, so I thought the mystical Unicorn would be the perfect present for her.

When the Huggle Buddy arrived I opened it up to check it was intact, before giving it to Lexie. I was very impressed with how well it had been stitched and the material it was made from was so soft. I also saw on the label that it was machine washable, which meant Lexie’s mum Rose would be able to wash it when she came out of hospital. I knew Lexie was going to love her new toy, which also doubles up as a comfortable travel pillow, if you undo the Velcro under the Huggle Buddies tummy. I thought this would be great for Lexie to use in the hospital, if she needed a little extra comfort at night time, or when her mum wasn’t there.

When I went to visit Lexie, she was so excited to see me, especially when she saw that I had bought her a gift. I told her how brave she was being and handed her the Huggle Buddy, which I had wrapped up in pink sparkly paper. Her little face lit up when she opened it and saw her Huggle Buddy. I could tell that it had really cheered her up! Rose thanked me and said that the doctors thought Lexie and her new Huggle Buddy friend would be able to go home in a couple of days!

Barbecue Weather – Or Not

This weekend we are having a family barbeque to celebrate my parent’s wedding anniversary. Their anniversary was actually a couple of weeks ago, however we have been holding out for better weather! The lack of sunshine in Britain has made it seem like we haven’t really had a summer, but as the weather is forecast as sunny for the rest of the weekend, we thought we’d grasp the opportunity for a barbeque with both hands. Not wanting the weather to spoil our afternoon, should it take a turn for the worst, we decided to buy a Super Gazebo!

After ordering it online, the Super Gazebo arrived in a matter of days. I was so impressed with the speedy delivery! We put it up in the garden yesterday afternoon, as we didn’t want to leave it until tomorrow, in case something went wrong. There was absolutely no need for us to worry at all – the Super Gazebo was so easy to put up! All we had to do was pull it out from the corners and let the concertina design do all the rest of the hard work. We then took the ropes it came with and secured it down to the ground, to prevent the wind from lifting it up.

The Super Gazebo is so spacious inside, which means that all of our guests will be able to fit inside if there is a brief spell of bad weather. There are also air vents along the panels, meaning it won’t get all hot and stuffy, so everyone will be comfortable. We are planning on putting the kitchen table in the Super Gazebo, so we can lay out all of the salad. The Super Gazebo also came with nets that you can attach to the sides, which prevent flies and other pests from getting in and landing on the food. We are all really pleased with the Super Gazebo and are looking forward to using it during our weekend of celebrations!

Staying with Mum

Over the last couple of weeks I have been staying at my mum’s house, as she has recently had an operation on her hips and needed a little extra help during the recovery process. It was obvious that she was going to struggle going up and down the stairs, so we decided that it was best to get her a bed to put up in the living room, until she recovered from her operation. She had suggested getting an air bed, but I was really concerned that they wouldn’t be comfortable enough for her to sleep on, especially if she was in a lot of pain. After insisting she would be fine, I browsed the internet for the best air bed I could find. Out of all the air beds I looked at, the Eazy Bed stood out for all of the right reasons. Not only did it come with a steel frame, making it look and feel more like a real bed, but it claimed to self-inflate in less than three minutes!

When my mum’s new Eazy Bed arrived, I couldn’t quite believe how compact the carrier case was. I was unsure of how it could possible turn into a full size double bed, but to my surprise it did! All I had to do was plug the adapter into the socket, switch it to inflate and watch the Eazy Bed do all of the hard work. I was extremely impressed with just how simple it was to put up, but the real test was how comfortable it was going to be for my mum to sleep on.

The next morning I asked my mum how she was feeling and whether the bed was going to be comfortable to sleep on for the next couple of weeks. She told me that she couldn’t have been comfier and that it felt like she was sleeping in her own bed upstairs! The Eazy Bed provided just the right amount of support and no air escaped during the night, even when she had to roll over onto her side.

Another great thing about the Eazy Bed is that it was so simple to deflate. I simply had to repeat the process of plugging the adapter into the socket, but this time switching it to deflate. The Eazy Bed sucked out all of the air, making it easy to put back into the case. It was so quick and easy to do that I was able to pack it away each morning, in order to create more space for my mum during the day.

A Bit of Redecoration

I have wanted to paint my living room walls for about a year now. You may be wondering why I have waited so long? Albert is my answer. Albert is a little ginger kitten that I bought a year ago; who has made it his mission to scratch as much paintwork in the house as possible. He has finally stopped scratching, which has made this the perfect time to re-decorate. I am not the biggest fan of painting, usually because I find it is so messy, but my friend recommended the Paint Pad Pro, a handy little tool that claimed to be mess, stress and fuss free!

I decided to paint my room a neutral cream colour as I thought it would hide any scratch marks, should Albert decide to take up his hobby again. The paint was so easy to apply to the tool, all I had to do was run it over the roller, built into the paint tray, and it covered it in an even layer of paint. This ensured that the paintwork looked both accurate and smooth, whilst also preventing excess from dripping off the Paint Pad Pro. My favourite thing about the Paint Pad Pro is its shape. It looks quite like an iron, which makes it really easy to paint into all of the corners and along the edges – there is no need to swap it for a little paint brush! I also found it really easy to paint the ceiling as I was able to screw an extension pole into the top of the Paint Pad Pro.

I found that painting with the Paint Pad Pro took just a fraction of the time it would normally take me using a paint brush or roller. The paintwork looked so professional – I even surprised myself! There was no mess to clear up and the tool was so easy to clean, with a minimal amount of both soap and water. I am really impressed with the Paint Pad Pro and have been recommending it to all of my friends.

New Car

My new car is my pride and joy. I spent so long waiting whilst I saved up for it, so now I have it, I do everything I can to make sure that it remains in perfect condition. I am always on the lookout for new car cleaning products, so when I came across Body Shield Pro, I knew I had to try it.

I was pretty taken back by the fact that it was a waterless product. I simply had to spray it onto the dirty areas of my car and use a clean micro fibre cloth to wipe it away. I sometimes find it frustrating when I have to buy a number of expensive car cleaning products to use on all of the different parts of my car, however Body Shield Pro can be used on all areas, even the mirrors and windscreen! I have to say it did a fantastic job on the car panels, but the solution really thrived on the windscreen and mirrors, there was not a smear or smudge insight. Once all of the dirt was removed from the car, I then took a separate micro fibre cloth to buff the side panels, giving them a high gloss shine, which helped to make my car look as new as the day I bought it. The three step cleaning process couldn’t be simpler and it only took a fraction of the time it would normally take me to clean my car, using soap and water.

Since cleaning my car I have noticed that the results are very long-lasting. Body Shield Pro puts a weatherproof sheen on your car, preventing rain water from causing dirty marks. I have been recommending it to all of my friends and even feel that I no longer need to keep trying other car cleaning products – I’ve found the perfect one.

Huggle Buddy Holiday

A couple of weeks ago my sister Rebecca, who lives in America, came to the UK for a visit. It was the first time I had seen her in five years, and also the first time I was going to meet my four year old niece Chloe. I wanted to get them both a gift, as we often find it hard to send birthday and Christmas presents, as shipping costs can be so expensive. I bought Rebecca a lovely necklace, but found Chloe a lot more difficult to buy for as I didn’t really have any idea of the sort of things she liked. After seeing an advert for Huggle Buddies on the television, I thought one would make the perfect present –all four year old like cuddly teddies after all!

When I went on the website to purchase one, I found that there were so many different Huggle Buddies to choose from. I eventually decided on the puppy. When it arrived I took it out of the packaging to make sure that it had arrived intact. I was so pleased with the quality of the Huggle Buddy, it had even been hand stitched to make it more durable. It felt so soft to touch and I had a feeling that Chloe was going to love it. Not only is it a super soft cuddly toy, but it also doubles up as a comforting travel pillow, if you undo the Velcro under its tummy. It was going to be perfect for Chloe to take on the long plane ride home!

It was so lovely to spend time with Rebecca and meet little Chloe. We had a great week together, before they travelled to London to visit my brother. They both absolutely loved their presents – especially Chloe who insisted that she carried her Huggle Buddy around with her all day. Rebecca rang me when they arrived back in America to let me know that Chloe adored her present and that it was of great use on the plane journey home.

Painting like a pro

I have recently moved house and decided to make a start on painting each room, to make it more homely. I started with the living room, as I spend most of my time there. The only problem was that the previous owners had covered the walls in woodchip wallpaper, which can sometimes be very tricky to paint. My friend has recommended the Paint Pad Pro, as she had recently painted a wall covered in embossed paper and said it did the job perfectly!

The Paint Pad Pro looked so different to any other painting tool I have ever used. It was shaped like and iron and was made from a lightweight plastic, which made it really easy to use. To apply the paint you have to move the Paint Pad Pro slowly over the roller in the paint tray. You will find that just the right amount of paint is applied, ensuring smooth, drip-free application. The fact that the tool was an iron shape made it so easy to glide along the skirting board, ensuring that the edges looked neat and tidy. The Paint Pad Pro’s foam backing made it so easy to tackle the woodchip wall. Using circular hand motions I was able to paint into all of the nooks and crannies – it was just as easy as painting a smooth wall.

Not only was the Paint Pad Pro great for painting the uneven walls, but it was also the perfect tool for painting the ceiling. Normally I would have to stand on a ladder and use a roller, but the Paint Pad Pro has a hole at the top which you can screw an extension pole, enabling you to reach the ceiling with ease. I found it so easy and relaxing painting my living room using the Paint Pad Pro. It was so much quicker than I could ever have imagined and I will definitely be using it to paint the other rooms in my new house.

Keep Your Car Sparkling

Living in the countryside has its advantages – beautiful scenery, lovely clean air, but it does have its downside too. The poor roads and muddy tracks around my area mean that my car rarely ever stays clean. It is especially bad in the winter, when the weather is much wetter, making the roads all the more muddy. I don’t like driving around in a dirty car, so I constantly find myself taking a couple of hours out of my week to clean it with soap and water. I was moaning to my parents the other day about having to clean my car so much, when my dad recommended purchasing Body Shield Pro. Like many people, I am a little sceptical about so-called miracle cleaning products, but Body Shield Pro really surprised me, living up to all of its claims.

Body Shield Pro is a waterless cleaner than you can use on all parts of your car. You simply spray it all over the dirty areas, using one microfibre cloth to wipe away the dirt and another to buff the car panels, giving them a glossy finish. It is great for using on the windows, mirrors and lights – there are no smears or streaks in sight! I found that it was so much quicker to clean my car using Body Shield Pro, cutting the time down to about 15-20 minutes. Not only that, but it required far less effort, which left me in a far better mood!

I have to say that my car has never been so clean, nor has it stayed clean for so long. It has been over a week and my car still looks in fantastic condition, there isn’t a mud splash or smear in sight. As well as removing the dirt off cars, Body Shield Pro adds a protective, weatherproof layer, ensuring they stay cleaner for longer. I can’t ever imagine using anything else to clean my car and I have recommended it to all of my friends.

Summer is over

Since the summer holidays are nearly over we thought we would try and squeeze in one last trip away, before the kids went back to school. My family own a caravan in Yorkshire so we thought we would stay there for the week. It is quite a spacious static caravan, but when you have three children running around, it can feel a little cramped! We were hoping the weather would be nice so that the children could play outside, but not wanting to take our chances we thought it was best to buy a gazebo which we could attach to the side of the caravan.

After comparing various gazebos online, I decided that the Super Gazebo was the one for us. It came in a compact case, which was brilliant as it hardly took up any space in the car on the way there. When we arrived at the caravan we decided to put the Super Gazebo straight up, so we could spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing. I couldn’t believe how easy it was to put up – it hardly took any effort at all as the concertina design did most of the work! The Super Gazebo was so spacious inside. There was plenty of room for the kids to play and we also managed to fit our garden table and chairs inside too. Despite the harsh winds, it stayed fixed to the ground due to its air vents which stopped it from being lifted up.

We had a lovely relaxing week in Yorkshire and the Super Gazebo was definitely put to good use. On the days where it rained, the children had hours of fun playing in the gazebo, and we even ate our dinner in there a couple of times too. When I told my family that we had bought a Super Gazebo, they thought it was such a great idea that they bought one to keep at the caravan. We bought our gazebo home and have now erected it in our garden. It is a great space for the kids to play in and shades them from the sun, meaning they can stay out for longer!
